Archie Ben Lawrence, 92, a native of Selma and a long life resident of Fairhope, died Saturday, June 12, 2010.
He was a faithful member of The Church of God in Christ, Fairhope.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lena Marie Lawrence; and son, Melvin Lawrence.
Survivors include three sons, Archie Lawrence Jr., Murray (Reubena Crook) Lawrence and Clarence (Carolyn) Daniels; two daughters, Gloria Matthews and Deborah (Cedric) Merritt; two sisters, Maggie Leftridge and Lexanna (King) Steward; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, host of family, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 18 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 19 at Fairhope Baptist Church.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Fairhope.
