Lawrence Anton “Tony” Geci, born Feb. 19, 1928 was called home to his Heavenly Father on Dec. 7. 2012.
Born the youngest of five sons to German immigrants in Summerdale. He graduated Foley High School in 1946. Then moved, in the 1950's to Mobile where he married and lived the remainder of his life. Father, grandfather and a man of faith. He is survived by Elois, his wife of 56 years; four loving children, Kimberly (Johnnie) Driessner, Phillip (Melissa) Geci, Duane (Meagan) Geci and Kendra (Gene) Bennett; along with eight grandchildren. He truly believed that laughter was the best medicine and would always greet you with a great joke and a smile. Friends are invited to join his church and family for a Celebration of Life on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Forest Hill United Methodist Church, 4807 Princeton Dr., in Mobile. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Forest Hill United Methodist Church.
