Malachi “Mal”Lay, 73, a native of Miflin and a resident of Foley, died Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at his residence.
Survivors includ his wife, Jo An Lay of Foley; four sons, Bobby (Dianne) Lay of Foley, Mike (Mary) Cockerham of Tallahassee, Fla., Chuck (Jeannie) Lay of Foley and Stacy (Barbara) Lay of Foley; sister, Florence Foley of Elsanor; three brothers, Bill Lay of Jackson, Miss., Randy Lay of Foley and Andy Lay of Elberta; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 10 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley. Graveside services and interment will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aprill 11 at Lay Cemetery, Miflin with the Rev. Keith Cardwell officiating.
