Mary Sue Harris Leggett, 78, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007 at a local hospital.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Atmore and attended the Atmore First Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Johnny Harris and Bill Leggett and a brother, Arlion Lee Philyaw.
Survivors include four sons, Floyd (Patricia) Harris and Wayne (Beverly) Harris, both of Atmore, John Calvin Harris of N.C. and Thomas (Kelly) Harris of Bay Minette three daughters, May (David) Crume of Greenville, N.C., Margie Harrell of Bay Minette and Fay Rugg of Greenville, N.C.; 21 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a brother, Johnny Lee Philyaw of Repton.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Davis officiating. Burial was in Mineola Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Thomas Harris, Michael Pruett, Curtis Evans, Josh Harris, Kyle Harris and Daniel Harris.
Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Lisa Brooks, Rebecca Harris, John C. Harris Jr., Bernie Grace Rivers, Little Joe Rivers, Alice Rivers, Macie Harris, Destany Downey, Trinity Downey, Myles Downey, Sonny Pruett, Bridgett Rugg, Ashley Rugg and Laura Beachman.
Arrangements are by Petty Funeral Homes, Atmore.
