The American Legion in Fairhope is holding its Third Annual L.A. Songwriters’ Festival, an original music event which is fast becoming an important artist happening in lower Alabama.

The final two days of the festival will take place at Post 199 on South Mobile Street on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 14-15.

This year’s event will beheld on the indoor Hall Stage, starting at 6 pm each night. The festival (a celebration of original music) brings over 25 songwriters from Nashville, Tenn., lower Alabama and northwest Florida.

All performances will be held in an “in-the-round” acoustic setting. An auction will be on going for the weekend and guests will have the opportunity to meet writers one-on-one in a quiet, smoke-free, candlelit atmosphere.

Tickets for the weekend festival will be $15 per night or $25 for both nights.
