Lesley Wayne Crowe, 63, born in Spartanburg, S.C. and a resident of Bay Minette died Friday Aug. 5, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Crowe was a truck driver for Baldwin Pole and Piling and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife Patricia D. (Blackburn) Crowe, Bay Minette; two children, Ernest Wade (Renee) Davis of White House Fork and Priscila Michele (Timothy) Cox of Perdido; three brothers, Gary Crowe of Pine Grove, Thomas Cullis Crowe and Ovet Crowe Jr, both of Spartanburg, S.C.; two sisters, Frances Moore and Linda Ballew, both of Spartanburg, S.C.; three grandchildren, Katelyn Cox, Kody Cox and Jimmy Michael Sprinkle.
The funeral service will be held Monday Aug. 8, 2011, at 1 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Norris Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until the funeral starts. Active pallbearers will be Brock Johnson, Larry Williams, Clint Williams, Fred Applegate, Herman Hartley and Brian Hartley.
