Leslie Reese, of Gulf Shores, daughter of Nancy Teague Reese and William Sampler Reese, was born May 25, 1967 and died on May 13, 2012.
Toward the end of her life Leslie lived with her mother Nancy Reese in Gulf Shores. Leslie had recently moved from Charleston, S.C., to accept a position as “Special Events Manager” of the Saenger Theater Centre for the Living Arts.
Leslie is survived by her mother, father; brother, Gray Reese; sister, Shellie Reese; sister-in-law, Linda Reese; niece Ava Gray Reese. Her extended family includes two aunts, Sue Simons, and Billie Shahid; and cousins Leigh Fincher, Hal Fincher, Stacy Fincher, Art Fincher, Greer Denny, Rob Shahid, Shawn Shahid, Gene Warhurst and Lorrie Johnson.
A memorial service will be by the Rev. Ted Peterson at the Talladega First Methodist Church on 400 East Street S, Talledega at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 19. A gathering of family and friends will follow at the home of Sue Simons 505 East S. Street in Talledega.
In lieu of flowers, friends and family are asked to donate to your local humane society in Leslie’s name.
