Lewis William Lacey, 90, a native and a resident of Loxley, died Saturday, April 16, 2011.
He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a long time farmer in Loxley and also worked at the ship yard in Mobile. He was an avid hunter, as he especially loved to hunt deer and turkey.
Survivors include a sister, Katherine Phillips of Palatka, Fla.; nephew Bobby Lacey of Palatka; step-daughter, Barbara Lovell of Loxley; and other relatives.
Visitation begins at 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 20 at Mack Funeral Home with funeral services at 10 a.m. from the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Loxley.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Greenwood Cemetery Fund, County Road 66, Loxley.
