DAPHNE, Ala. — The Daphne Public Library’s Summer Reading Program “Make a Splash —READ!” — was “a great success and hundreds of children enjoyed the entertainment, stories, and craft times throughout the month of June,” a spokesperson said.

The children who participated also read books and filled out book logs to receive certificates and prizes. The top readers were tabulated and separated into three categories with first second and third place for each age group category as follows.
