Lieselotte H. Windham, born July 24, 1938 in Schweinfurt, Germany, died peacefully with family members at her side on Dec. 26, 2013.
The joys in her life were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved cooking, Alabama football and real country music.
She is survived by her husband, John Windham; son, Martin (Nancy) Windham; daughter, Michelle; granddaughter, Ashley (Luke) Fleniken; grandsons, Conner Jeter and Jet Barber; great-grandson, Porter Fleniken; and great-granddaughter, Sadie Fleniken.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Vernon Hermecz at the emergency department of Thomas Hospital and the wonderful staff at Joyce Goldenberg Hospice Inpatient Residence.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at 11:30 a.m., at Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Spanish Fort, with Deacon George Yeend officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Joyce Goldenberg Hospice Inpatient Residence, 10075 Hillview Road, Pensacola, FL 32514.
