Life Challenge Camp, to fight substance abuse, set for June 2–6; seating is limited

DAPHNE, Ala. — Life Challenge Camp, presented by Warren Counseling Services Inc., will be held June 2–6. Choice of sessions includes 8 to 10:30 a.m., 11 to 1:30 p.m. — bring a bag lunch — and 2 to 4:30 p.m. Cost for the five-day event is $150 and must be prepaid; all fees are nonrefundable.

The camp is open to anyone ages 12 to 14. All participants who complete the camp and pledge abstinence will receive a certificate.

Marijuana, alcohol, crack/cocaine, prescription pills and Xanex and Ecstacy will be highlighted throughout the event.
