LIGHTHOUSE EASTER EGGSTRAVANZA SET FOR GOOD FRIDAY

Posted

ROBERTSDALE — The Lighthouse's 6th annual Easter Eggstravaganza will be held Friday, March 21, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Garrett Park in Robertsdale.

The Easter Eggstravaganza is a gift of appreciation from the Lighthouse to the community in recognition of Child Abuse Awareness Month. The Lighthouse's domestic violence program provides child advocacy services to children who have lived in violent homes, which is particularly important because the suffering of these children is often overlooked.

The Easter Eggstravaganza promises to be loads of fun for both adults and kids of all ages. Robertsdale Fire Department is providing hot dogs for lunch and tours of a department fire truck. The event will also feature games, magicians, clowns, pony rides, a cake walk, raffles, a space walk, an egg decorating contest and a special appearance by the Easter Bunny. More than 5,000 easter eggs are expected to be donated to the Lighthouse by individuals throughout Baldwin County for the Egg Hunt.

To make arrangements to deliver candy (no chocolate, please) and plastic eggs for the Easter Egg Hunt, please call Laura at (251) 947-2588 or Jacki at 947-3414.

The Lighthouse is a United Way agency.
