Lillian Anilee Neese Wells, 95, a native of Brewton and a longtime resident of Seminole, died Saturday, April 9, 2011.

She loved her family dearly, she was a charter member of the Seminole Baptist Church, she was known for her coffee cake, and also had a love for painting.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Wells; son, Roger Wells; five sisters, Ruby Boatwright, Ola Neese, Agnes Coleman, Irene Early and Jewel Ryber; two brothers, Bill Neese and Jack Neese; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Survivors include five aughters, Peggy Merchant, Sandra Britt, Margaret Wacks, Jackie Melton, all of Seminole, and Judy Gaines of Casper, Wyo.; son, Darrell Wells of Seminole; two sisters-in-law, Louise Neese of Mobile and Neelie Neese of Birmingham; 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation begins at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 12 at Mack Funeral Home in Robertsdale with funeral services at 3 p.m. from the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Mitchell Cemetery in Seminole.

Arrangements are by Mack Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Robertsdale.
