Lillian Kaechele Fell of Foley died Sept. 19, 2015 at the age of 103.
In addition to her husband, Mack Fell; and her parents, Emma K. Scharpf, John Kaechele and Otto Scharpf; Mrs. Fell was pre-deceased by her son, Charles M. Fell; her grandson, Charles R. Fell; her great-grandson, Charles Derek Fell; and her siblings, John Kaechele Sr., Elizabeth Heilmeier, Caroline Hammerle, Frieda Hardy and Bertha Robinson.
She is survived by a daughter, Maxine Fell Lutz (Benton) of Beaufort, S.C.; grandchildren, Alicia Lutz of Charleston, S.C., Will Lutz (Elizabeth) of Decatur, Ga., Jenny Fell Hansen, (Kim) of Fairhope, Nancy Fell Sommerville of Foley, Sherry Fell Josey and a daughter-in-law, Shirley Stanton Fell, both of Augusta Ga. Additional survivors are her great-grandchildren, Jill Fell Ringgold (Forrest), Katie Hansen MacKenzie (Travis), Erin Simms and Michael Simms; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Fell is also survived by the extended families of her brother, John Kaechele (Thelma Pilgrim); her sister, Elizabeth Heilmeier (John) and Caroline Hammerle (John).
Visitation is at First Presbyterian Church, 195 E. Berry St. in Foley at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 23, followed by the service at 11.
A committal for family members will be at Pine Rest Cemetery following the burial.
In lieu of flowers, make memorials to the Montreat Scholarship Fund, with checks made to First Presbyterian Church, 195 E. Berry St., Foley, AL 36535.
