The streets of Lillian were overrun with holiday cheer for the Lillian Optimists Club’s community Christmas parade on Saturday.
There was so much holiday cheer to go around there were even two Santa Claus' and one Mrs. Claus at the end of the parade!
The parade, which began just east of the Lillian Café at S. San Pedro Street and traveled east on Highway 98 towards the Florida state line, included a wide variety of floats and attractions.
Groups involved in the parade included the American Legion, the Foley High School AROTC, county commissioner Charles Gruber, Shepherd of the Bay Lutheran School, Elberta Bark Park, British cars on tour, Lillian United Methodist Church, Evelyn’s tax service, the Lillian women’s club, a clown and of course, Santa!
