Lillian R. Cocke, age 89, a native of Menlo Park, N.J., and resident of Fairhope, for the last 70 years, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013.
She was a member of the Christian Science Church and worked at the Fairhope Health Food Store. She is preceded in death by her husband, James R. Cocke Sr. and son-in-law, Bill McDonald. Mrs. Cocke is survived by her son, James R.(Arlene) Cocke Jr. of Fairhope, Thomas E.(Shirley) Cocke of Wing, Ala.; daughter, Sally C. McDonald of Fairhope; grandchildren, Laura, Andrea, and Kimberly; three great-grandchildren, Kirsten, Ian, Alexis, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m., at Colony Cemetery.
