Lillian Ruth Daniels Bond, 83, a native and a resident of Summerdale, died Sunday, April 22, 2012.
Mrs. Bond was an active member of Summerdale Baptist Church and The Eastern Star. She enjoyed being active in civic and community activities and also loved to sew and crochet.
Mrs. Bond is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin E. Bond Jr., and son, Marvin E. “Butch” Bond, III.
She is survived by two daughters, Lynn Bond, Summerdale, and Evelyn Goff, Mobile; one sister, Bernice Daniels Lindsey, Mobile; one brother, Bert (Margie) Daniels, Robertsdale; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday, April 26, at 2 p.m. at Mack Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Chris Deese officiating. Burial will be in Pine Crest Cemetery at 3:30 p.m. Thursday. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1 p.m.to 2 p.m. at Mack Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 19059 S. Greeno Road, Fairhope, AL 36532.
