Linda Fay England Hackney, 72, born in Sparta, Tenn. and a resident of Bay Minette, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015 at North Baldwin Infirmary.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her children, the Rev. Jeff (Terri) Harrison of Kennedy, Kimberly (Charles) Thomas of Perdido and Heather (Bobby Harris) Long of Robertsdale; two brothers, Thomas England of Smithfield, Tenn. and J.B. England of Trinity; a sister, Betty Harrison of Trinity; daughter-in-law, Cathy Hackney of Bay Minette; nine grandchildren, Chasity Harrison McPeek, Tyler Harrison, Gary Thomas, Kayla Thomas, Kyle Thomas, Elizabeth Morris, Ethan Long, Aaron Piersall and Crystal Quinley; and three great-grandchildren, Lili Grace McPeek, Gabriel Richerson and Katie Ann Harrison.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Lee Hackney; her parents, Charlie C. and Kate Vinson England; and siblings, Everett Paul England, Clifford England and Anna Louise England.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015, at 2 p.m., at Norris Funeral Home, with the Rev. Joe Welch and Sister Louise Parker officiating.
Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday, Jan. 16, 2015, from 6 until 9 p.m., at Norris Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Brian Humphrey, Tim Dorman, Patrick Reynolds, Joey Buie, Hayse Brock and Keith Barkhouse.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Brown and Rex Hackney.
