George Lindell Jr., 82, a native and lifelong resident of Silverhill, died Thursday, June 4, 2009.
He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Order of Inca, Mobile, and St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Robertsdale.
He was preceded in death by a son, James Noel “Jimmy” Lindell.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Gwin Lindell of Silverhill; three sons, Gary (Karen) Lindell and Gordon (Spring) Lindell, both of Daphne, and John (Susan) Lindell of Plano, Texas; three sisters, Dorothy Edhegard and Shirley Ard, both of Silverhil, and Paulette Stanton of Loxley; brother, David Lindell of Loxley; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation begins at 8:30 a.m. with funeral services at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 6 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Father William James officiating. Burial will follow at Silverhill Cemetery.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the charity of your choice.
