James Michael “Mike” Lisle, 67, of Gulf Shores, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007 at home.
He was a retired pilot with Northwest Airlines. He had been a resident of Gulf Shores for the last eight years. He was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and was involved in mission work with The Lamb Institute in Honduras. He was an avid gardener and also an accomplished woodworker who created fine furniture and cabinetry.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Lisle of Gulf Shores; daughter, Andria Lisle of Memphis, Tenn.; son, Jeffry (Mary Ann) Lisle of Monroe, Ga.; brother, Jac Lisle of Ellijay, Ga.; and granddaughter, Maclin Lisle.
A memorial service was held Wednesday, Jan. 2 at St Paul's Episcopal Church in Foley.
The family requests memorial donations be made to The Lamb Institute, 215 Hickory St., Charleston, SC, 29407.
