Lizzie Mae Dulaney, 98, a native of Excel and a resident of Spanish Fort, died Friday, Jan. 7, 2011.
A former resident of Monroeville, she relocated to the Spanish Fort area in 1970.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Havard Dulaney; and son, Melvin Dulaney.
Survivors include daughter-in-law, Faye R. Dulaney of Fairhope; two sisters-in-law: Alyne Coker and Eura Mae Vickery, both of Excel; two brothers-in-law, Ben Dulaney of Prattville and Keith Dulaney of Pensacola, Fla.; three grandsons, Scott (Lou Anne) Dulaney of Peoria, Ill., Howard (Nathan Laffin) Dulaney of Seattle, and Shawn Dulaney of San Francisco; a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
Visitation begins at 9:30 a.m. with funeral services at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12 from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. at Excel Baptist Cemetery.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimers Association.
