Vounteers participated in the Helping Hands for Japan car wash fundraiser Saturday, April 9 for victims of the Japanese tsumani.
Amy Vanden Heuvel, event coordinator, said $407.36 was raised for the event, which was held from 8 a.m. to noon at Pope’s BP Gas Station in Robertsdale.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to the American Red Cross, earmarked for the victims in Japan.
