BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Many Eastern Shore residents were named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Samford University. They are, by town:

*Daphne: Jessica E. Johnson and Mitchell J. Payne

*Fairhope: Malynda M. Mesler

*Montrose: Katherine B. Nickerson

*Spanish Fort: Amanda L. Jones, Connor A. Ojard, Erinn J. Ojard and Lauren E. Womack

To qualify for the honor, a student must have earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 12 credit hours of coursework.
