Sue Green Loftin, 86, a native of Pine Apple and a former resident of Gulf Shores, died Monday, March 22, 2010.
She graduated from Murphy High School, Mobile, participated in Friends of Library in Gulf Shores and was a founding member of Holy Spirit Episcopal Church in Gulf Shores where she was also a Greeter, an Altar Guild, and a member of Episcopal Church Women.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordy E. Loftin; a daughter, Julia Sue Loftin Hewston; and a brother, James B. Green.
Survivors include a daughter, Laura L. Boyer of Boca Raton, Fla.; and two grandsons, Matthew Frentz Boyer and James Gordy Boyer, both of Atlanta.
A memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 29 at the Holy Spirit Episcopal Church in Gulf Shores with the Rev. Chris Coates officiating.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Holy Spirit Episcopal Church, 616 Fort Morgan Road, Gulf Shores, AL 36542.
