Loraine Moser Shaffer, 87, a native of Huntingdon, Pa., and 16-year resident of Lillian, died Friday, June 10, 2011.
Survivors include her devoted husband of 65 years, Charles L. Shaffer of Lillian; daughter, Cindy (Mark) Hyde of Houston; son, Michael Shaffer of Ocean Springs, Miss.; and granddaughter, Jocelyn (Marlon) Silva of Houston.
She was a member of Perdido Bay United Methodist Church; volunteer at Lillian Perdido Bay Library; member of the Gulf Coast Stitchery Guild, and the Kiwanis Club of Big Lagoon.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 13 at Pine Rest Funeral Home, Foley.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Lillian Perdido Bay Library, P.O. Box 237, Lillian, AL 36549.
