Loretta Ruth Brookfield, born July 2, 1930, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, George Joseph Brookfield Jr.; their three sons, Stephen (Terrie) Brookfield, Richard Brookfield, and Paul Brookfield; her five daughters, Dianne (Daniel) Merritt, Maryanne (John) Menefee, Joanne Brookfield, Susanne (Bill) Roman and Pattyanne (Terry) Theis; 11 grandchildren, Janice Brookfield, Jennifer Merritt (Lorne) Amos, Jason Herrin, Danny (Tina) Merritt, Michelle Brookfield Wilmot, Katie-Beth Theis, Melissa Roman, Megan Theis, Robert Roman, and Ryan Roman; and two great-grandchildren, Dristin Amos and Emily Merritt.
Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. Friday Sept. 3 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. Graveside funeral services for family and close friends will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4 at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
