Louise Gordon Floyd, 87, a native of Commerce, Texas, and a resident of Fairhope, died Thursday, March 08, 2012. Ms. Floyd was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family above all else. She also was a member of the business community for over 50 years and a valued employee. She is survived by her son, Harold Gordon Floyd and his wife Diane; daughter, Linda Floyd Christenberry and her husband Cecil, all of Fairhope; sister, Elizabeth Laurine Varrial, San Carlos, Calif.; and brother, Herman Benton Gordon, Daphne; three granddaughters, Amanda Christenberry Smith and her husband Brian, Abigail Lynn Christenberry, Alison Marie Christenberry; one grandson, Connor Dylan Floyd; two great-grandsons, Robert Sawyer Smith, Shepherd Christenberry Smith; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will have private funeral services. Interment was at Memory Gardens of Fairhope. Arrangements by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes, Fairhope.
