Louise Hadley, 78, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013 in Bay Minette.
Mrs. Hadley was a native of Rabun, and a lifelong resident of Perdido. She was a member of Little River Holiness Church.
Mrs. Hadley was a loving wife, mother and raised her children and all others in the Fork.
Her lifelong love was cockfighting.
Her grandsons, Glenn William Hasting Jr. and Christopher Obbie Hadley preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, Obbie Hadley of Perdido; three sons, Obbie Hadley Jr. of Perdido, Robert D. Hadley of the Fork and Randy Hadley of Perdido; two daughters, Mary Evon Hasting of White House Fork and Elaine Hadley Thomas of Perdido; one brother, D.C. Harville of Perdido; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, at 2 p.m., at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home in Atmore with Sister Helen Stewart and the Rev. D.L. Harville officiating.
Burial will follow at the Bryars-McGill Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be her three sons, one grandchild, one great-grandchild and son-in-law.
The honorary pallbearer will be her grandson-in-law.
