First Baptist Church of Gulf Shores, AL, will be honoring Louise Johnson as she celebrates her 100th birthday on March 31, 2012. Friends are invited to attend a birthday celebration in Founders Hall at First Baptist Church in Gulf Shores from 2 – 4 p.m.
Louise Collins (Johnson) was born on March 30, 1911, in Chilton County, Alabama. She married Roy Johnson in 1939. They had one daughter Ann Johnson Tyrus and 11 grandchildren
Louise served as Secretary of First Baptist Church in Gulf Shores for eight years after moving here from Birmingham. She has been a Sunday School teacher since she was 18 years old. Louise was a Sunday School teacher of the Ladies IV Class at First Baptist Church in Gulf Shores for 36 years until she moved to Prattville. She is currently serving as a supply teacher in Prattville where she resides with her daughter Ann.
Louise has been a dynamic, dedicated Christian spending her life teaching others about Jesus. Please join us as we celebrate with Louise on her 100th birthday.
