Louverta “Bert” Dyess, 80, a native of Beulah, Fla., and a resident of Robertsdale, died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011.
She enjoyed game shows and NASCAR Racing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Dyess; and a brother, Robert A. Brill.
Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Marie Boyington of Robertsdale; three sons, Ronald Keith Dyess of Okinawa, Japan, Carl Bruce Dyess of Robertsdale and Daniel Kelly Dyess of Robertsdale; sister, Opal Roberts of Pensacola, Fla.; two brothers, Otis L. Brill of Pensacola, Fla., and Joseph L. Brill of Lucedale, Miss.; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation begins at 9 a.m. with funeral services at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 14 from the chapel of Mack Funeral Home with the Rev. James Caples and Sister Jeanette Hadley officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Cemetery, Robertsdale.
Arrangements are by Mack Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Robertsdale.
