Loxley, AL  Parents of Preschoolers at Loxley Elementary were recently invited to a "make and take" workshop.  The workshop was hosted by Mrs. Rona Wiggins, the Loxley Elementary Preschool Teacher.  Ms. Linda Noble also helped by sharing tips and strategies on how to help establish a teacher-parent relationship.  The parents also had the chance to make several activities to take home and use with their children.  The activities were designed to help children with fine motor, cognitive and pre-academic skills and were all made using inexpensive items.  Parents of preschoolers in the Loxley Elementary program are required to invest 12 hours in inservice type activities each year.
