Loxley Elementary Preschoolers are Getting Creative with Color

The four year-old preschoolers in Rona Wiggins' class are creating beautiful works of art and learning all about colors in the process.  The students' latest art masterpiece was created with an unlikely tool - a drinking straw!  The students put globs of yellow and red on their paper, then  blew through their drinking straws to mix the paints together.  They were all amazed to see that when the two colors mixed, the color orange was created. The latest creation is just one of many the students have produced so far this year.
