Elementary’s Spotlight Student of the Week. Phillips is a

2nd grade student in Ms. Garnham’s class. Recently

Phillip has inspired all his classmates to write creative

stories. Phillip began the writing trend by using his free time to

Phillip recently wrote a paragraph entitled “If I were

President”. Phillip wrote “If I were president, I would stop people

from smoking. I would only let people cut down a few trees. I would

has read some of the Harry Potter books and other stories above his

grade level. His teacher says Phillip is self motivated to read and

write – which makes for a great, all around student.

and Craig Hamilton of Loxley. When asked what he would like to be

when he grows up, Phillip says he would like to be “a policeman or

an Army Serviceman”.
