Special needs students from Central Baldwin Middle School visited the Loxley Volunteer Fire Department recently. Fire Chief Timothy Curry said the visit was one in a series of events held by the Fire Department to commemorate Fire Prevention Week. “We appreciate the help of the mayor and city council, which allows us to hold events like this,” Curry said. Loxley Mayor Billy Middleton was on hand to talk to students. The LVFD also took its Fire Safety House to CBMS.
