Linda Long Lunsford and Austin “Skip” Caldwell announce their engagement.
The bride-elect is a resident of Bay Minette, the daughter of Versia Long of Fairhope and the late Aubrey Long.
She is a graduate of Fairhope High School and the University of South Alabama. She is employed at Faulkner State Community College as the director of institutional effectiveness and development.
The prospective bridegroom is a resident of Demopolis, the son of Austin Caldwell of Demopolis and the late Jane Caldwell.
He is a graduate of Demopolis High School and Auburn University. He is employed with the Hale County School System as the network administrator.
The couple will exchange vows at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 at the Daphne Bayfront.
Following the wedding, the couple plan to reside in Bay Minette
