Lyle Ainey Meade, age 84, a resident of Foley, Ala., passed away Friday, Dec. 18, 2015.
Lyle was a member of the Windsor Masonic Lodge, 442 NY, National Sojourners Inc., Heroes of 76, Baldwin Chapter #531, National Sheriffs Association and the American Legion. Lyle was a member of the First Baptist Church of Foley.
Survived by his wife, Janet Meade of Foley, Ala.; a son, Timothy (Jill) Meade of Bernville, Pa.; three granddaughters, Bobbi Jo Ballard, Mallory Meade, Daphne Leveque; brother, Milton Fortner of Windsor, N.Y.; sister, Virginia Barrett of Mapleville, Ark.; nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Monday, Dec. 28, 2015, from 10-11 a.m., at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley.
A celebration of life service will follow at 11 a.m. from the funeral home chapel.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Alabama State Veterans Cemetery, Spanish Fort.
