Lynn Douglas “Butchie” Foster, 68, a resident of Daphne, passed away Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015.
Butchie was born Wednesday, May 22, 1946 in Mobile.
Butchie loved living on Mobile Bay, tending to his flower and vegetable gardens and walking on the beach.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thelma and Lawrence; sisters, Audrey Holladay and Patsy Box; and brothers, Stewart and Hughie.
Butchie is survived by two brothers, Buddy of Lawrenceburg, Ind. and Buford (Sandi) of Fairhope; a sister, Shirley Bertagnolli of Huntsville; sister-in-law, Mildred Sims Foster of Daphne; brother-in-law, Ted Box of Silverhill; niece and guardian, Stephanie Middleton; and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015, from 5:30 until 8 p.m., at Hughes Funeral Home in Daphne.
Graveside services will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015 at Memory Gardens of Fairhope with the Rev. Scotty Jernigan officiating.
