Madeline Whitehead, 88, a native of Bridgeport, Pa., a longtime resident of Foley and most recently a resident of Bondurant, Iowa, died Thursday, March 12, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her husband, LeVernard Whitehead.
She is survived by a son, Michael Whitehead of Grimes, Iowa; his daughters Brittney and Lydia; and her sisters, Mary, Lillian and Louisa. God also blessed her with three stepsons, Thomas, Donell, Royce and their families, who she cared for deeply and loved as her own.
Funeral services for Mrs. Whitehead will be Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at 2 p.m., at Pine Rest Funeral Home.
There will be a time of visitation with the Whitehead family Wednesday, March 18,2015, from noon until the service.
Burial will follow in Pine Rest Memorial Park.
