Madie Ray Egebrecht, 82, a native of Evergreen and resident of Foley, passed away Friday, April 18, 2014.
Mrs. Egebrecht was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence “Larry” Egebrecht; son, Bruce Wright; stepdaughter, Mary Jane “Dolly” Porter; and brother, Ted Curry.
She is survived by her three daughters, Diane (Harold) Joiner of Elberta, Paulette (Hector) De La Garza of Summerdale and Mona (Charles) Middleton of Foley; a son, Steve (Gail) Wright of Magnolia Springs; a stepdaughter, Debbie Egebrecht of Madison, Wis.; two stepsons, Lawrence “Larry” Egebrecht Jr. of Tallahassee, Fla. and Gary (Wendy) Egegrecht of Robertsdale; a brother, Jimmy D. Curry of Summerdale; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at 2 p.m., from Berean Baptist Church in Elberta.
The family will receive friends at the church from 1 p.m. until the service time.
Interment will follow in Wynn Cemetery in Summerdale.
