Magdaline “Maggie” Fletcher Mitchell, born March 6, 1929 in Madison, died Monday, Aug. 9, 2010.
Survivors include eight children, James Fletcher, Elnora (Lee) Smith, Larry Mitchell, Jacqueline (Curtis) Tucker, Jerome (Brigitte) Mitchell, Lovell (Wanda) Mitchell, Mark Mitchell and LaBrian (Victoria) Mitchell; seven sisters, Lottie Fletcher, Georgia Dixon, Annese Fletcher, Mildred (James) Collier, Shirley Smith, Bobbie White and Velma Moore; and a brother, Carl Fletcher.
Visitation begins at 11 a.m. with funeral services at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14 at Christian Valley Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Twin Beech Cemetery, Fairhope.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Fairhope.
