BAY MINETTE, Ala. — Alan Sibley and the Magnolia Ramblers will appear in concert at St. Paul United Methodist Church  on Saturday, July 23.

Music will begin at 6 p.m. Dress is casual. Refreshments will be served at 5:30 p.m.. During the program a love offering will be received, but a donation is not required for attendance.

The church is located at 2310 Highway 31 South in Bay Minette,  just south of Faulkner State Community College.

Comprised of four talented musicians from the state of Mississippi, Alan Sibley and the Magnolia Ramblers have become one of the Magnolia State’s most popular Bluegrass bands. The band consists of multi-talented singer/songwriter/musician Alan Sibley, veteran guitarist Bo Collier, banjo player J.R. Willis, and bass player Mark Brown. The group’s repertoire consists of standard and original gospel material, as well as traditional bluegrass songs and instrumentals.

Mississippi native Alan Sibley began his career at the early age of 15 playing mandolin with the Legendary Sullivan Family. After leaving the Sullivan Family, he played guitar for three years with the Larry Wallace Band. In 2006-2007, he played mandolin for Jerry and Tammy Sullivan (one of the leading Bluegrass Gospel groups in the world).

Jack Purser serves as Pastor of  St. Paul. For more info call 937-2005 and leave a message.
