Magnolia Springs council agrees to $500 expenditure for Arbor Day 2012

MAGNOLIA SPRINGS, Ala. - The Magnolia Springs Town Council unanimously approved the expenditure of up to and not to exceed $500 for Arbor Day 2012.

The decision, which came at Tuesday's council meeting, is in line with town expenditures from previous years. Last year the council put up $500, and the Arbor Day committee only spent $405, Mayor Charles Houser said.

The motion is set up where the town can provide less than $500 but not more than $500.
