MAGNOLIA SPRINGS, Ala. — Magnolia Springs Library kicked off its Summer Reading Program Saturday with a theme based around “The Great Green Turkey Creek Monster” by James Flora.
The launch included releasing the monster from its box and showing participants how to keep tgrack of their progress over the next month.
Given also explained that Magnolia Springs Library’s Summer Reading Program culminates on July 15 with a celebratio at Magnolia Springs Golf Course featuring two water slides and a barbecue lunch.
She also added that participants in seventh-12th grade about special facets of the program designed for them. They include a scavenger hunt at the library at 11 a.m. this coming Saturday, as well as the chance to win passes to Waterville.
