Carolyn Marie Koontz Majors, a resident of Foley, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2008 in Foley.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, W. Frank Majors, and a son, Rick Majors.
Survivors include a son, Steve (Caron) Majors of Foley; daughter, Suzanne (Ron) Scheer of Stockbridge, Ga.; daughter-in-law, Marie Majors of Miflin; six grandsons, Britton Majors, David Majors, Marty Majors of Foley, Richard Majors and Justin Majors of Miflin, Ronnie Scheer of Lawrenceville, Ga.; two granddaughters, Kate Majors of Memphis, Tenn., and Kimberly Fischer of Rockledge, Fla.; three brothers, Carl Koontz of Worchester, Mass., Don Koontz of Elberta and Charles Koontz of Pensacola, Fla., and sister, Marlene Edmundson of Miflin.
Visitation was held Sunday, Jan. 6 at Pine Rest Funeral Home. Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 7 from the funeral home chapel. Burial followed at Pine Rest Memorial Park.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., Sixth Floor, New York, NY 10001.
