GULF SHORES, Ala. — A Georgia man died after falling off the balcony of a condominium in Gulf Shores on Sunday.

According to a news release, Paul Stanley Grimes of Columbus, Ga., fell Sunday morning from a third floor balcony at Regatta Condominiums. The 35-year-old-man was found motionless on a first floor concrete balcony and suffering from head injuries. Grimes was taken by LifeFlight to Baptist Hospital in Pensacola where he later died.

Although the case is still under investigation, police suspect no foul play. Grimes had come to Gulf Shores to attend a Widespread Panic concert at The Wharf.
