Marjorie E. Manning, 91, a native of Ohio, and a resident of Foley, died Tuesday, August 12, 2008.
She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church for 60 years. She was one of the first non-medical employees at South Baldwin Hospital, and retired from there after 20 years of service. She was a past president of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley W. Manning.
Survivors include a son, Wesley J. (Jo Ann) Manning of Spanish Fort; daughter, Kathy (Joe) Bischoff of Foley; four grandchildren, Traci and David Manning, Barrett Bischoff and Katie Hagood; six great-grandchildren, Wesley Nevin, William Nevin, Charles Nevin Jr., Felicia Bischoff, Alex Bischoff and Braxton Hagood.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. with funeral services at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 15 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Foley. Interment will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park.
