Lawrence Curtis “L.C.” Manry, 74, a native of Flomaton and a resident of Bay Minette, died Friday, June 12, 2009 at Mercy Medical in Daphne.
He retired as the local manager with Alabama Power Company, Bay Minette office. He was a a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict and China service.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Constance Faye Tatum Manry, and a son, Lawrence Eugene Manry.
Survivors include two sons, Mark Alan Manry and Mitchell Curtis Manry, both of Bay Minette; and a sister, June Manry Graves of Pensacola, Fla.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 15 at the First United Methodist Church in Bay Minette with the Rev. Dr. Jeffrey Spicer officiating. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. at Pine Orchard United Methodist Cemetery near Peterman.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 19059 Greeno Road, Suite A, Fairhope, AL 36532.
