Retired Air Force Maj. Paul R. Maradik, 89, died Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008, at his residence.
He was a retired communications officer and pilot with the U.S. Air Force at Brookley Field. He was a member of VFW Gaston Lee Post 5660 and a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Maradik of Fairhope; three sons, David A. Maradik of Fairhope, Michael D. Maradik of Navarre, Fla., and Paul R. Maradik Jr. of Fairhope; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. with a memorial Mass at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 20 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Fairhope. A private interment will be held at a later date.
The family requests memorial donations be made to St. Lawrence Catholic Church
