The parades have all been canceled but that does not mean there will not be any fun this Mardi Gras. The City of Orange Beach and The Wharf have teamed up to bring a little bang to the sky Feb. 13.
The Boom Boom 2021 Mardi Gras Fireworks is a safe and family friendly alternative to celebrate Mardi Gras. The fun will begin at 5 p.m. on Main Street with DJ Silky playing music under the palms. The SPECTRA Laser Light Experience show will play at 6 p.m. with the fireworks display immediately following at 7 p.m.
This socially distanced event will allow some good times to roll in a safe manner. Guest can watch the fireworks display from a variety of locations. There are plenty of open-air viewing spots for your family whether it be spread out on Main Street or from your cars, trucks or boats.
The Wharf is encouraging all guests to adhere to social distancing guidelines. Come out, have fun and keep back 6 feet. Air high fives are encouraged. For your convenience, hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the property.
