Margaret Catherine Rogers, a native of Sweetwater, Ala. and a resident of Elberta, Ala., passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2016.
Margaret was a member of Josephine Baptist Church, Business and Professional Women's Club and Daughters of the Confederacy.
Ms. Rogers graduated from Carloville High School and graduated from the University of Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, David T. Rogers; her two sisters, Annie Field, Earline Thomas; and brother, Jesse Etheredge.
She is survived by her three daughters, Irene (James) Posey of Gulf Shores, Ala., Wynona Schoen of Elberta, Ala., Gayle (Scott) Taylor of Foley, Ala.; sister, Oclla Mae Fletcher of Cumming, Ga.; and four grandchildren, David Schoen, Catherine Taylor, Andrew Taylor and Nicholas Posey.
Services will be held on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Pine Rest Funeral Home.
The visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m., and the service will follow.
